About the game
Yo, bro, it’s 1966, and the South African Border War is heating up. As a commander of the SADF, you gotta keep the region safe by stopping the SWAPO insurgents who are sneaking in from Angola. But it ain’t just them, bro; their big bro, the Angolan army (FAPLA), is also in the mix. FAPLA’s got bigger plans—like taking control of the whole region with Soviet help, while backing SWAPO to mess things up further.
So, what’s the plan, dude? You must coordinate troops, special forces, and all kinds of units to fight back. But the real key is winning over the locals. They’ll hook you up with crucial intel if they’re on your side, making your COIN mission way easier. But watch out, bro—if you lose support back home or from the United Nations, it’s game over. It nails the vibe of the South African Border War with turn-based strategy, random maps, and units like choppers, tanks, and special forces.
